The toyota waterproofs were out again this morning. Worked a treat :D

Isn't 'TannerUK' riding his new beastie back from Brizzle today? Lets hope he managed to dodge the worst of things.

Oh yeah! No KTM in the car park this morning. Hope he made it home ok. Maybe he had it delivered by van :D

Went out for a tootle around in Kent yesterday morning, coming home found the road flooded, seemed like a foot deep, couldn't brake in time, *splosh" into it around 40mph, water shot up my trouserlegs and into my boots, bike just kept going as if nothing had happened. At the very least, I expected the electrics to cut out, and to have to push it out of the water...

Good, these GS's, aren't they!

(er... can anyone recommend a truly waterproof oversuit?)

Did more or less the same thing on my R1100S a couple of years ago, by the time I saw the water I was already on the gravel that had washed across the road - so decided not to brake - hit about 8" of water at about 30mph - bow wave hit the cylinder heads and was projected upwards from both sides into may lap. I don't care how waterproof a 2-piece suit claims to be, if you have a puddle in your crotch it will get in somehow. :D

As I was wet already I started to aim for the waterlogged bits of road in true child fashion and even the R1100S handled the conditions well.
