Ace Cafe Overland Adventure Tour day - 20th Feb 2011

I dropped TouraTwat an email, they're not bringing any stock, but if you phone an order in they'll bring it with them in their van :thumb2

Worth a call if you've been holding off buying that extra bit of bling...
 
There's about 5 of us coming from the Dorchester area, "overlanding" it along the A31(New Forest), M27, M3, M25, M40, A316!! Anyone want to meet us en route? Just let me know and we'll call in to any of the service stations etc.
 
I've been to this event for the last 3 years and have seen the same bikes, people and traders there most years... Not sure if I can be arsed this year, might just get the bike out and go off for an adventure of me own.....

I met Austin Vince at the Excel Show last weekend and as a new GS owner id love to go along to this - im in the Winchester area so happy to meet up with the Dorchester possy?? I can sit on the motorway bridge at Junction 9 and then jump onto the M3 as you pass the junction and then catch you up.

We can meet you at Winchester Services if you prefer? We should be there at about 9.30am (ish) I'm also going to be leading our group and I'm very easy to spot, as I'll be wearing a Day-Glo helmet:blast, so won't be difficult to spot as we ride past the bridge. Let me know what's easiest for you.

Anyhoo, I'll be heading up from Chertsey (Surrey) round 8:30 - aiming to get there round 9 to hook up with some non-GS riding mates for a fry up before it gets too busy.

Hopefully see/meet some of you there

Is there a secret UKGSER handshake that I need to know? :D

(Insert 'smutty-handshake-inuendo-joke' here)
 
I will be there as well - not on the GS though but with my trusty travel companion - and I'll bring my wonderful personal mechanic, too, in case you have any questions about the modifications... :D

Hmmm. Might give the GS a soapy sponge job this weekend and come on down.

As a newby to this event, are there any stalls there flogging extra bling (or perish the thought - anything useful for the GS :D)...?

I presume this will be a typical Ace Cafe event though...? Really looking forward to seeing GS riders perform burnouts, wheelies, etc....:toungincheek
