So my insurance renewal comes - over 10% up.

nicely mirrors inflation rate :eek (3% my f*cking ARSE )

Never had a claim since just after WWII :P

Anyaways up, enough o the bitchin

I looked online and saved a few quid. Policy comes - I query the bike mods, which I couldn't do online and am told 'ut err, no can do'

We'll requote.

Price doubles.

Eh???

In that case I'll have the original re-quote (the 10%+ rise one). After all, it's the same company as last year - and they had all the details already.

OK Sir, that's fine.

And I'm thinking, is it? Have they noted everything, I f*cking hate insurance renewal time.

So - if you have a big tank, I hope you've checked with your insurer ;)

Maybe I'll not put the extended girder forks on after all :D

Many want Engineers Reports for mods as well

Ebike ( spit ding ) just done my R100GSPD and Yam yzf1000 for £240 F.C.

Bloody hell! I only pay £160 for my 1200 and 80 outfit on a combined policy with the BMW insurers. You live somewhere doddgie or sumink.

Val.

When I moved from the UK I was offered a nice R80GS with a seibenrock conversion quite cheap. The insurance companies would not accept my proof of no claims for some reason and said I would have to start from scratch. Bugger. So your insurance will be............80€! Pah, bargain. My car insurance with 12 years no claims was still 1000€ though:eek: Any logic here? Sorry its Germany so....no. Don't get me started on not being able to mow the grass on a sunday or having to have summer amnd winter wheels for my car even though I live in an area where it rarely snows:blagblah
