Tar remover

I just removed two weeks worth of (new roads) tar and gunk from all over the bike in a few minutes with the above. The whole of my Remus was covered with huge tar deposits and literaly after a few seconds of applying some ACF and rubbing it off the thing was shining like new

It's good on fishing bait and lures too apparently ...

lol, seriously it's a damn good cleaner for tar and other road deposits, give it a try if you own some. Better than a certain top brand Intensive Tar Remover imo

It's a bit nasty the old WS, and as a degreaser it doesn't leave a protective film? As it only takes a spot of ACF, and if you already have some, then why not

Hello,

Heard a lot about ACF-50 but not tried yet.
Seen it on fleabay for £12.50 for a can or £28 for 1L and pump spray.
Are these good prices or should I be looking elsewhere?
Think it will be the answer to a lot of my worries on the 1200 and the winter rides.
Never really worried about my trusty 1100 but I suppose after a year or two the same will apply.

WD 40 is just as good and a lot cheaper. Just a thought.

Keep the expensive stuff for the electrics which coats them superbly.

Apparently Baby Oil is a great tar remover too, and a damned sight cheaper than ACF-50.

I used it on my microlights..top stuff..REALLY spreads over a few days !! Don't buy their offer with their spray bottle..its utter crap..unless they have modified it !!

Beats WD40 hands down WD40 better value though for everyday use

LOL, WD40 never even looked at this stuff, sorry
