Used it, but not for long enough to test thoroughly its claimed anti-corrosion properties. With its background (and I am usually a sceptic) I am taking that as a given.

But I can vouch for one claim - it creeps like nothing I've encountered before. And having used it on a dull F650GS mudguard extension (to add a sheen, short of shine) it does seem to hang around for a good time rather than getting easilywashed away.

I used it through the winter and it seemed to do the job...no rust on the bike anyway...

Likewise. Highly recommended for winter use. Someone gave advice ( sorry can't remember who it was) that warming the tin makes application much easier. I stood mine in warm water for ten minutes or so and it worked a treat.

The stuff will burn off headers and exhaust and will need reapplying in these areas.

I've been using it now for about 12 months and had great results thus far.

Over on the VFR forum it gets much better reviews than the Scotoiller equivalent. The only downside is the cost but it will have paid for it's self over a winters riding.

Only bought it a month ago, seems good. Only downside is that it attracts dust, still my fault, why use it in summer? But it seemed worthwhile to put only on this, then that, Oh, and that, same old story, once started. Ended up doing the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK OK I'm turning into an anorak.

According to their website it should last for a year in non exposed situations, which is why I covered every screw, bolt electrical connector I could find.

At the demo in Beaulieu, they were running a small telly semi imerged in the stuff.

I agree with the positive comments above. I have started to use the stuff at home as well with great results: e.g. a shaving mirror in the shower - bought new, applied ACF50 and 6 months later looks as good as new. The previous one (untreated started corroding after 2 months.

Because of the many uses I found for the stuff I asked Nippy Norman to get me the 1 litre bottle (thanks to him for great service!). It was under £30 and comes with an applicator bottle and is not as sensitive to temperature etc as the spray bottle. It will last me a long time but saves me a lot of money.

When you start thinking about the potential applications for the stuff the possibilities are endless - anything that could potentially corrode and needs lubrication will benefit from the stuff.

Sounds sad, I know, but I am impressed with the product.

No it's more like WD40 (in appearance) or the Scott Oiler protector if you've used that...
