Always use copper slip grease on the brake pads and the slider pins, but after a while it turns black and gunk’s up the callipers, so I thought I would give the ACF50 on the callipers (wipe on/wipe off) a go, and I've used the corrosion block grease which I got with the acf, (I assume its made by the same people).

The grease says high temp use and salt resistant, will not wash off, would this be a better option than the copper slip? on the pads and slider pins, has anyone else tried it?, any opinions!

I've stopped using any grease on my brakes, except a tiny smear of copper grease on the pin, because it just seems to attract dirt and as you say gunk everything up.

As I understand it, ACF is very "gunky" and there's no guarantee it's friendly to brake seals.

My current strategy is just clean the brakes often and don't apply anything gunky.
