Nope - just checked the server and it seems as good as it gets for Lavasoft.

Do you have a local Firewall other than XP? You may have a new or borked rule stopping the connection, also content software can do this.
I was going to suggest pinging the update server, my list says it should have an IP of 67.15.193.252 for the UK however I seem to remember they denied ICMP.
Hmm, I have a vague suspision they use multiple hosted servers so this could be a local ISP cache type issue
Edit - Try opening http://serv04.ls-servers.com/ in a browser - you will see an Apache welcome page, now hit shift-f5 a few times to force your ISP proxy to refresh, may work but this is not my field...
I would uninstall .... re-install and try then to update....
