I bought an adapter to mount a Carpuride 502/702 onto and existing XT mount.
Turns out, the adapter is for an XT2
I drilled another hole 4.5mm up from the bottom hole so the contact bolt contact the positive contact.
Then of course, the XT2 is 12v and the XT 5.2v. Rather than change the voltage step-down on the XT cable, I bought 5 to 12v step-up.
If I decide the Carpiride is the best thing since sliced bread, I will re-do the supply cable but I want the option of using either at the moment.
