Adaptive LED

Resurrecting an old thread here, I’ve just bought a 22 1250GS which has the old style headlight still fitted. For various reasons the the previous and first owner never got to take it in to have the updated adaptive unit fitted. So I’ve got it booked in with Sycamore at Peterborough to have it done.
Mine doesn’t have a DRL button on the left side switch gear, I guess because it doesn’t have DRL.
SO….when they fit the new unit, which does have DRL, will they fit new L/H switchgear?

Recently had mine done by dick lovetts in Bristol. They changed the left hand switch controls as well for the headlight.

That’s the exact reason, i was just pointing out another difference
