Adaptive LED

I've had my "£500 voucher plus new headlight" letter but at a loss what to spend the £500 voucher on!
I was able to get to about £320 for items I actually really need/want, then made up the difference with other bits & bobs e.g. ridiculously expensive keyfobs, cleaning products etc.

Still not had any contact from Dealer , I have just given up with them . I will wait until the headlight is fitted before using the Voucher but to be honest
there is nothing I need , just mad to buy stuff to use the Voucher up ?

mine is in and they called to arrange but missed it

so i've retunred the call and just waiting

i looked at stuff on BMW web site not sure there's anything i want really

For me, BMW's letter came at at the right time, because I was about to buy various protective bits (not necessarily BMW ones), before a tour in Europe in August, so this saved me about £320. I had to make up about £180 with items that I didn't really 'need', but which should still have some use, hopefully. I still had to also buy some items elsewhere, though, because BMW don't do equivalents.

I've now been assured by two dealers, in writing, that the letter really does mean that you can spend the voucher and still have the LED headlight fitted f.o.c. when available, so I went ahead and spent the voucher - though they're taking their time, either with BMW being slow to approve or with the dealer getting the items in stock.

the lamp assembly/led light is not in, they are phoning to ask if i still want it and then they tell the kremlin i do and it gets shipped to them, well obvs
they claim not to know about the letter from BMW and asked me to let them see it when it gets done to prove

i can see myself when it gets done trading it in for somthing else

My main disappointment has been with the dealer , I have had nothing from Vines unless I emailed them and then all I have had is we do not know anything .
Which makes me wonder why we need dealers they great when your buying but after service is shocking . Even an email every couple of months to say sorry but we still do not have an update would go a long way to make you feel they do give a toss . I bet once the GS1300 is in the showrooms the sales guys will want to be your friend .

No, they'll just tell you that they don't need to do you any sort of a deal because there's huge demand for the new bike, and by the way, your old one is obsolete and now worth fuck all :)

Well they are telling lies cos I have forwarded my letter to them a couple of weeks ago

I got the call yesterday regards my light being in stock and do I still want it , I said yes as I had paid for it to be told the that I can now spend the voucher as a good will for not having something I paid for a year ago ? lucky me , Then we get to booking in , they only work Monday to Friday with no option to drop off at the weekend , So I would have to either take a day off or half day at work , oh and yes I could have a loan bike and they would not charge me when I said I am not paying for a loan bike ? as a gesture of goodwill this should not have even been a discussion and I was told by them I had to spend the Voucher by the time the light was fitted or it will be void ? the guy then told me a lot of people are topping it up to £750 and buying a service plan .
I have now booked it in with another dealer who do work Saturdays and if it runs over are happy for me to collect it the next weekend and have said there is not rush to spend the voucher ,

I've communicated with two dealers about this voucher, and neither of them mentioned this requirement. Nor does the letter say this.

Well, I got mine today in Canada, took about 4 hours total. I didn’t get a voucher with the bike, only a $500 discount from BMW, the kicker? $625 for the light with “free” installation. Oh well it’s on there now.

Get the flags out about F—— G time mine been fitted on the 29 Aug it’s only taken bmw 11 months absolutely disgusting

Did you have a physical voucher or was it just kept by dealer ?
i have the voucher in the pack they gave me at hand over

i just took the letter from BMW with me when i had it done

there appears to be no timelimit, but there may be a product limit i.e. it is only to be used on motorrad products not general products they may sell in the shop in the show room

i dont need £500 of cleaning products
