I was riding behind another GS a few days ago, which had lights integrated in the rear and front indicators, which were permanantly on. Whilst I have seen the thread on the site about DIY lights for the indicators, does anyone know whether there is a pre-fab kit that I could buy?!

thanks

you can get led kits from Nippy Norm - banner at the top of the page - that's where I got mine...but only for the rear brake lights...

right - got the Signal Minder from NippyNormans a few days ago. If you want the extra visibility for your bike - this is great for front and back. Just fit the flasher unit into the space of your existing one, and off you go.

It's got the signal minder function, which I don't really need, seem to remember to switch my indicators off most of the time anyway. However, having the four indicators on as running lights (which are easy to switch on and off whilst you are riding) is great.

Thanks for the tip, money well spend:D

Got mine from Malky a while back. 6 ultra bright red LEDS (two stacks of three per indicator) in the rear indicators. Look for Widetail. But I don't know if he still makes them.

USA spec on bikes is that the (orange) indicators are contantly on and only'blink' when turning.
I believe this is not legal to use this system in the UK , as a friend of mine who cameback from the US with his bike had to get it converted back before he could get an MOT
so would check first :beerjug:

May well be, so it's just switching it off be4 the MOT and back on again when it's dark. That's the beauty of it, hold down cancel and emergency button, and it switches on/off the running light function.
