Adjusting a WP spin rear damper mounting points?

Hi folks
I`ve just got a 2nd hand wp Spin rear damper unit and the damper reservoir sticking out of the side can only got to the swingarm side of the bike as the damping adjustment at the bottom of the shock would foul the swingarm. I now would like to be able to turn the top of the damper unit 180 degrees so the reservoir comes out toward the exhaust side. Is this possible to do or should I leave it as it is.
Wheres your damping reservoir at on your WP?

Good stuff! I take it it`s just a squeeze witha spring compressor and a quick twist?

Well, I just put a large screwdriver in each end and twisted.
