Sorry to bother you all again but I run a remus can (slightly illegal :tosser ) and a Y piece. I have read a number of things about poor fuelling and getting the bike dyno'd etc but I assume I'll need some electro trickery to adjust the fuelling even if I do get it dyno'd :nenau .

What's the best way of tackling the whole fuelling issue i.e powercommander etc, and what sort of cost should I expect?

This all sounds very expensive. Should have bought a Honda C90 and put knobblies on it.

Just leave it as it is and ride the bugger. The fuel injection should sort out the fuelling, and a Y and a Remus aren't that radical anyway.Mine has been like this for over 20,000 miles with no ill effects.Don't fret about it,it's not really a problem. If on the other hand you have pots of dosh to throw at your bike, the get a T259 fitted and spend out on a load of dyno time, but you don't need to do this. :thumb

What Shurv said, but do a good hard run then check the plugs to see how it's running.
Also search for 'Steptoe link' and have a read ;)

I did a plug chop yesterday and they were white!!!
I have spoken to a few people that say this is alright but it goes against all my limited knowledge. Surely thaty should be biscuit coloured. The exhaust is black at the end not white but the bikes not using oil. My bike now has 44000 on the clock and I don't know how long the pipes been on. Does the Y pipe give alot more power or is it not worth putting the cat back on for safety's sake? :nenau

IIRC when petrol had lead in it, not the concotion of chemicals it is nowadays, the exhuast colour matched the plugs, when un-leaded came in, the exhaust colour changed to black  .

buy a C90 and put knobblies on it :thumb :D

TFI techlusion works well - if you can use a small screwdriver :D
