Adjusting the headlight throw

Any doubt - speak to Les.

I've mine set up as per his recommendation and I turn them down (as if fully loaded) for daytime riding and then flick it up at night.

Seems to work okay

Problem I had was that to get the most of the HID high beam, the dip would be too high.
It is not possible to adjust the dip and main beam seperately.
I fitted an anti-glare dip lamp (hids4u.co.uk), this cuts down the dip beam scatter, and focuses more of the light on the road instead of a big semi-circle at the edges of the beam. It also allow the main beam to be higher.

Does it work well? What's the hassle in fitting it? Is it just a direct replacement for the HID bulb?

The anti-glare lamp was a direct replacement for the standard lamp, but not sure if all suppliers lamps come with the same connectors. My standard lamp was also from HIDS4u.
The only difference is a small reflector on the glass.

For me, it was definately worthwhile, I always felt a bit guilty when blinding other drivers.
