Adjusting Wilbers Shocks

I've got myself in a bit of a pickle

I want to return my shocks to their base settings.

With the compression damping I'm familiar with the wind the screws all the way in and 'x' number of clicks back out.

Rebound damping is controlled by a small knurled wheel and this is where I'm confused...........

Viewed from the top of the shock do I wind it in clockwise and then 'x' number of clicks back. Or, do I wind it in anticlockwise and then 'x' number of clicks back

viewed from the bottom of the shock, wind the knob in clockwise until it stops, then required clicks out (anti-clockwise).

Thanks Cookie - I 'wound it all the way in' anti-clockwise viewed from the top, then came out the required no. of clicks.

Amanda and I just had an entertaining 5 mins. checking that anti-clockwise from above is the same as clockwise from below..................

i think it just depends how your head works. i can only think about it from the bottom.

i have to mentally approach all screws/fasteners head on, so to speak

Hey guys can anybody help with an instruction manual on the settings for wilber shocks .I am on the standard setting ,12 clicks front and rear, the bike is okay or so i thought until i put a sandwich in my top box or the Misses on the back then it starts rubbing the hugger which has now worn a hole through it. I have that knob on the side to adjust with + or - which means nothing to me without an instruction manual
can anybody help ???

i looked online and drew a blank, but i have the setup booklet somewhere. i'll try and remember to find and scan it at a more civilised hour. if i forget, feel free to remind me

Thanks Cookie , but whatever way I try its wanting me to pay ,Not being switched on enough with these computer thingies , I will probably sign up to some obscure porn site ( Is that a bad thing) or will self destruct some country :hid so still cant see these elusive wilber shocks settings manual
