Lower righthand section quite badly marked thanks to blind lorry driver.....is there a touchup paint available

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure they are brush finished unpainted stainless steel. The bolts however are carbon steel.

Its an "adventure" bike, leave it as it is.Tell everyone you traded paint with a drunk lorry driver just outside Ulanbataar. Makes you look mean and hard.

Crash Bars.

Yep, I think they are SS too.
Sometimes if you try to touch in small scrapes, they look even worse!
One of the great things about the Adv is it looks good clean and unmarked, but looks even better with a few battle scars and dirty.
And the even better thing is that when you own one, you can do with it as you please and ignore idiots like me.
Seriously, if there are really sharp gouges, I would just take a bit of wet and dry and smooth out the edges.

I've had mine powder coated in gloss black and they look fab. But it was a daft idea because the next fall off the side stand will scar the nice shiny finish.

The crash bars are brushed stainless so dress out the worst scrapes with a file and carry on. You might want to change some of the bolts, especially around the front loops. They are normal carbon steel and they can rust to the point they wont unscrew. Dont fit stainless screws the threads will gall and strip.

My TT folded alloy head protectors have a couple of scrapes that happened while I was adapting to the bike but they look all the better for it.

My FD case is unmarked so some crash bungs would make sense. Of course they will be carefully rubbed with an angle grinder to maintain the "I've ridden to Mongolia" effect.
