Advance Warning April meet date change

'fraid I might have to wuss out and bring the bling (Mondeo with chrome :whatthefe ).

Looks like a mingin day so car it will have to be.

Sorry, but I did come out when it was really windy and cold, and you lot were in the tin boxes.

Bugger that was a wet ride back home :eek

Good night though :thumb2

Too right

That was more than a bit unpleasant being blown down the M6 with all the lorries, rain, and spray on the return journey. I should've gone down the back roads same way as I rode there.

Newbies Andy (Spannerrash) and Kev ( forgot your Gser name) deserve some credit for coming down the M6 so far in that shitty weather and so does Richard (Pendle) all the way from Nelson in Lancs ( even tho' he did come in the car;) :D Frank aka Frank from Wrexham almost enjoyed meeting us lot as much as he enjoyed riding round the world, well probably not.

Should've got a picture of Kevs "iconic" 1100, battered and bruised after its North African trip. Kev also gets the award for the farthest travelled having come from Ashord in Kent ( via Heysham , where he is working at the mo').

Some of the other usual suspects were there;

Phil ( Fliply ) mundane man wimped out & came in the car;)
Ted also in his cage
Cate and Dan , done too much riding in Ireland to come on their bikes!?
Les W on his Hid'ed up 12GS as always
Phil ( Pipster ) 12GS with his new breezeblock coloured Caja Sahels.
Me on my 1150 with my new funky black Caja Sahels as fitted with Phils help on Saturday, indicators courtesy of Malc ( Zapada) . Thanks for your help guys:thumb

Did I miss anyone again???????

Thanks to all I spoke to,great to meet you. It made the journey worthwhile even if it was only raining on the English side of the border.
Ted,thanks for the tips on the ABS.
See you all again: beerjug:
Frank

Black Caja Sahels :mmmm :nono

Only kidding :thumb2

:D

No your not Les :augie

Personally think the silver ones look better, but then you have a black bike Rushy, so putting the right coloured panniers on won't have colour matched the rest of the bike :ymca

Nice to see you all again, sorry I was in the mundaneo but at least I was dry when I got home :D :D :D

Good to see the newbies. Frank, your 1100 rocks fella, a lesson to all you polishers on how a GS should look.........well hard. Hope the back light made it home

See ya'll next month.:thumb2 :thumb2 :thumb2

I am sticking with the black theme, besides Phils are battleship grey....not silver;)

On a serious non pannier note.
Nice to meet you, to meet you .......:thumb
