Hi could anyone help, i have bmw lower crash bars fitted,does anyone know if the upper bars from an adventure will fit with the existing bottom ones many thanks.

In short, no, because the Adventure tank is much wider than the standard GS. What you need, I suggest, is Hepco & Becker upper protection bars, as marketed by Wunderlich. Find Wunderlich on Google and search their site or try Nippy Norman's. I had these on my 1200GS but they were fitted along with Hepco & Becker's lower protection bars. I'm not sure if they fit with the BMW ones.
I believe SW Motech do some as well. Have a look at those too.

I have some second-hand upper tank bars for a GS which I had on my 05 model until I traded for my 08 GSA - the bars are not being used anymore as I took them off before sale; If you are interested in having them, let me know- I am in Scotland
