I like Yellow, so my GSA had to be Yellow just like the GS I had before: Desert Yellow = Wüstengelb.

Its a remodelled OEM low seat probably the same as the Tourtech version but a lot cheaper, the camera angle probably makes it look a lot lower than it actually is.

Advicefor changing GSA tank side panel colour please?

Still new so be gentle with replies! Sgt Bilko?, really like the black GSA, I have a silver 56 GSA (didn't really like either white / silver options when looking at these, I think it's something BMW might look at with the 08 model maybe). Anyway wanted to change my 'magnesium coloured' metal tank side panels for black ones but approx £160 each from dealer. Any sensible advice as to how to do this cheaper (happy with silver upper tank colour). Nice photos everyone,

I think the complete black ones are awesome. Someone else had an all black 12 on here I remember seeing, Oonyack maybe? it's in the "show us your GS's" thread somewhere I'm sure, though I'm damned if I'm gonna trail through that again

My buddy painted the panels for me and they are metallic black. Simple job to remove and refit but make sure your painter prepares the panels properly before painting. To complete the stealth look, I`m thinking of having the panniers powder coated black I think there was one on ADVrider and it looked awesome!!

I investigated keeping the original panels and getting replacements painted but after my dealer quoted me the price I decided to paint the original panels. My dealer`s sales pitch was "it won`t be worth as much if it`s not standard"!! I think he may be wrong on that score......

His Maj does indeed have a nice blace one...pretty sure the seat is all black now.

I say pretty sure, coz most of the time his arse is doing an adequate job of covering the area......
