Adventure Martin?

This post actually reminds me of a funny story from years ago. I walked past my company stores (Infantry) when the storeman, Dave, a real character of a man, shouted my name. "Oi Collinson, get in here"....
I was a young private soldier. On walking in he offered me a pair of brand new, Teflon coated black, non stick mess tins. Everyone else was issued the standard bare alli ones. Impressed, I handed over my £20 and left. A week later on exercise on Salisbury plain got out said mess tins, in front of the rest of my platoon, smugly boiling up my water for the boil in the bag Pork sausage in beans in tomato sauce. Just as my pouch of delight was coming to fruition, The mess tin expanded and developed a huge blister, the black Teflon coating had come away, it was then i discovered it was just black spray paint.
The next week I walked past the store room when Dave called out my name "Oi Collinson, how was ya Teflon coated mess tins" ?
Wanker:D

If I understand the description of the Muffler correct, it's ceramic coated.

Using powder coating on a mufler would be as useful as baking ice-cream in the oven.

Must be an Anglian thing that

not a very nice even finish is it....

Come to think of it, I've seen things wrapped in gaffer tape look nicer....

I only have squaddie German. And nothing in the description looked like beer or chips.

it just says can take up to 24 days (working days) to ship, the rest is all terms and conditons and consumer right....

so could be right up yer strasse... or alles ueber der platz...

Powder coating is fab, my wheels were done in gloss black, - quick wipe with a damp cloth to remove brake dust when required and they sparkle.

First item i ever had powder coated and i am impressed!
