Adventure Seat by Melvin

As I've only done a 120 mile run on the new GSA I'm not really able to comment other than so far I think the Adv seat is more comfortable than the standard GS one.

Perhaps I've also got an oddly shaped posterior, possibly scupted by 10+ years of riding KTM enduro bikes - I once did the National Rally on a KTM 400 SC, complete with enduro tyres, (900+ miles in 24hrs), even got my picture in the BMF mag for that painful experiment. Not being one to learn a lesson easily I also rode a different KTM 400 SC in a week long RoD (Rally of Discovery) in Ireland, one of the days was 300+ miles in 8 hours. After those ANY "normal" motorcycle seat is comfortable.

Big Dens Bike

Well way down the road I bought Big Dens Bike
One week after purchase i got my hands on one of Melvins Seats................ AAAAAAh Heaven

The best seat I've had on a bike.
Its going for a France Trip/ road test in Sept
I'll let you know how comfy it really is

Magwa;)

Had my 1150 seat 'Melvined' some years ago, and it was a waste of money, absolutely no noticeable difference, (looks nice though)..

Airhawk seat cushion did it for me, 500 miles in a day possible now... :thumb

I swopped from twin plank to ADV seat and found it much comfier. Was still struggling over 350 miles until I started wearing propper base layer without undies. Now it's much better.
Have got a sheepskin and a sit mat too for really big mileages.
