Adventure shield, what is it ?.

Can anybody tell me what it is. All i know is that its some type of protection for easily scuffed areas of the bike.

clear plastic adhesive sheet.

i have the front of my car wrapped in it - 1 stone chip in 12 years. its great stuff whatever it is marketed as.. its all 3M scotchcal

But if it stops the material (usually much more expensive) being trashed, then it's done its job. Or is that not the point of it?

To the OP, is the stuff you're thinking of use glue to hold it in position eg helicopter / erosion tape, or the stuff you use soapy water to help position and then squeegee it all out and it then stays in place?

I dont know, its just been suggested that i get some for my panniers.

Just read more on the venture shield website and you're not wrong.

They must be using very clever sticky stuff then, sort of like post-it-notes, sticky enough but not too sticky.
