OK so I know asking this question invites a whole hard of views …, all of which is taken as feedback.
What are people’s thoughts, recognising its not a good time to sell necessarily, is this too much?

It's a hard market that's for sure.

People want mint bikes for peanuts.

Much as always.

Have you tried the big sites like eBay etc?

Hi - yes presently on EBay & Facebook, about to put on Rallymoto as well.
Thank you for the response though.

Probably be a fair amount of work, given the number of parts you've fitted to improve the bike but, maybe put it back to standard and flog the parts?
Assuming you still have the standard parts, a lot of trick stuff you have which should sell well I'd have thought?

Not sure whether this helps but my own experience over the years of selling heavily fettled or farkled bikes is that you get next to nothing for the add-ons - especially when the bike has plenty of miles on the clock.

It seems daft but it’s a fact that we get penalised for using these bikes the way they’re meant to be used.

I’d be inclined to see what the same bike is selling for without all the extras, strip what you think is saleable of and sell it separately - and be patient. I recently sold the Tractive suspenders off my 850GS on here, 18 months after taking them off the bike. Took time but it’s still £750 that I wouldn’t have got if I’d left them on the bike.

GLWS…

People will be put off by the high mileage and KTM's reputation for unreliability and there's nothing you can do about either. I agree that stripping the farkles and selling them separately is probably the way forward, but even then the base bike will need to be very competitively (cheap) priced to sell. Shame, because it's a brilliant engine and its reputation is worse than its reliability. Mine, in 790 form was faultless.
