Adventure top box rack mounting bolts.

Hi Guys,

I got a rack to fit the bmw aluminium top box to my bike for Christmas but I didn’t get the mounting bolts.

Can anyone recommend what size the oem ones are so I can buy some from the local hardware store.

I also need replacement bolts for my MudSling as the one I bought didn’t have any. Anyone know the size?

Cant help on mudsling bolts sizes

The mud sling uses zip ties or the bolts installed already and clips over the installed mud guard does it not?

Thanks for all the reply’s, I will pop some Allen bolts in and then replace with torx when they turn up.

@bisbee I won’t be going anywhere on the bike if it snows like it says it will. thanks for the offer though.

Quick test of the box on the rack with new coded locks. What else is there to do on Christmas Day.

The box rack uses M6 Torx screws. Not exactly super secure. But they are such a faff the average scrote will look elsewhere.
