Nothing ground breaking here, but does anyone have photos of a GS LC with the aluminium Adventure top box / rack? I have both boxes but would need an Adventure rack to put the aluminium box on my new GS. Would like to see what they look like.

Thanks dude. Looks good. I still prefer the colour scheme of the 1200 Rallye like yours compared to the new one, so I went for an 'exclusive' this time, which I will be picking up this week. I have a vario top box / rack and also an adventure top box (silver) but no rack. I think the racks are about £250 ish? Maybe the black Vario will suit the exclusive a bit more. Will see. I also have the tinted GS screen that you have - and also the tinted 'rallye' screen which overall I prefer. It's noisier, but the air is 'cleaner' (depending on your height etc). Looks sharp too!

The new aluminium top boxes don't appear to have the soft cushioning for the pillion anymore?

Yes I think I prefer the Blue Rallye colour scheme to the later version too, they should've kept the Blue frame on the new one possibly..........you may pick up a ADV rack on e-bay or put a wanted ad on here you never know one may turn up, I've looked at the Exclusive it looks better in the flesh than in pics IMHO, I didn't get on with the short Rallye screen, I tried the tinted ADV screen and whilst it works well and looks good on the bike overall I prefer the tinted std. GS screen.
Available over the counter at your BMW dealer I believe, I have no need of one.

This thread is some what old but im looking for a new windscreen for my rallye and the ones on these bike look amazing.

Yes it's quite old, both of those bikes have gone on to new owners now, the screens are standard BMW GS tinted version.
I had a tinted ADV screen for a while and the short Rallye screen but found this one suited my needs best.
The cushion has been, and still is, and option that needs to be ordered separately.
