Hi everyone,

I've just bought a 13 plate GS TE from Allen Jefferies. Very pleased and looking forward to picking her up next week. I'd like to put aluminum adventure luggage on, but firstly a top box with backrest. I was informed that the GSA luggage wouldn't fit without changing the frame and fittings. So, any advice please on what to go for as I have no experience with this type of gear.
I like the look of the Givi stuff but again no idea how practical they are. The tourtech gear looks great but is it really worth the money?

Thanks in advance for any info and experience you can share. Cheers,
Leigh

Leigh, afternoon and welcome

You will need a GSA rack and fitting plate, then you can fit the Topbox

Same goes for the panniers you will need frames. They are available secondhand.

Hi Whyman. I've just converted my GS with the GSA rack and rails, wasn't a problem and the GSA top box fits without any issues. Just looking for a set of second hand panniers...

Is yours the last of the air cooled model? If so I have a complete set of rails, rack and boxes
