I am toying with the idea of letting go of these two Brietlings, I hardly wear them since stepping down from working and have seen a really nice guitar I fancy so could be time to sell. Both boxed, full papers, spare links etc (superocean)
Looking for ball park assessment of what they might sell for, lm realistic to know that what they are worth and what they sell for may be miles apart.
Also does anyone know any dealers who might be interested in buying?
Thanks
Stuart

Also have two ladies Omegas, a constellation and a Quadra with coloured markers..?

Send the details with pics to Watchfinder they will give you a free no obligation offer on what they would buy it from you for. If looking for a private sale add a bit more on to the Watchfinder estimate.

I fear you may be a little disappointed though, Brietlings tend to maintain a reasonable value as opposed to many of the Rolex models that can more than double over 10 years.

I think you would be looking around the £2k mark for each one. Maybe a bit more private, no doubt the site experts will be along soon with more accurate info.

I recently sold this one (see pic below) to Watchfinder, I had put it to Brietling for a service but they wanted over £2k as they insist on returning it as new so said it needed a new case as the threads for the crown were worn, a new glass needed, new hands as they were not glowing enough in the dark, the list went on, the basic service alone was quoted at £700 before all the extras they insisted it needed. I asked them to return it and not bother. I contacted Watchfinder told them the story and sent pictures. It was a full box set too, they offered me £1k subject to appraisal. I sent them the watch and after they received it they contacted me to say having looked at it it was better than they thought and upped their offer to £1200 which I took. They refurbished and serviced it in house and had it up for sale for £2200.

I actually have a Breitling for sale on here but so far it remains unsold. I did send it to a watch dealer that was recommended on here and he refurbished it at a fraction of the cost that Breitling wanted. He also fixed the bezel for less than a hundred pounds when Breitling wanted £400. I’m not in a rush to sell so will leave it on here over the Christmas period and reassess in January if it remains unsold. I did send Watchfinder an email to see what they would offer and it was okay but didn’t go as far as sending it to them as I’d only just posted it here. The refurb cost was only £55 and my watch looks amazing now so I’d recommend thinking about getting it spootled by that chap I used- I had it back within a week and your watch would look like new I’m sure. It was The Watch Dealer and he’s based in Essex. https://thewatchdealer.co.uk/index.php?main_page=page&id=13

Good luck with your sale.

Doubt the Superocean in 1st post will get 2k!.One of my favourite Breitlings.

Thor , sold listings on Ebay ( use advanced search then sold ) will give you the lowest market price. Then looking a Chrono 24 for the exact spec of yours eg UK box papers recent service etc will show you the range eg highest lowest . Dont expect to be bowled over with demand though as the watch market generally is still slow and there are lots of low ballers out there.
