dudes!
got me a givi topbox with a brake light,
just wondered where the best place is to pick up the 12v to switch it when brakes applied, and connecting with minimal damage/problems to the electrics
cheers

The rear brake light?

Seriously though just take it from the brake wire that runs to the back light. Simples.

Back light

You'll need two wires from thre existing light one from the wire and an earth, good idea to put a connector in the lead so you can take off the top box if required.

cheers guys for the reply's
I was looking more for a plug or a place in the fusebox to connect up the power for the brake light, I dont fancy cutting the loom protector cover that goes from the brake/indicator into the main harness, I ended up connecting to the rear brake switch wire :beerjug::beerjug: and its all working fine . I will look for a better place inside the fuse box when I have a mo,

thanks again
John
