Advice on cleaning neglected R80GS

Personally, having used a lot of air tools in the trade along the years, I wouldnt go below 100 litre capacity (and the bigger the better here) - this will do most tasks for a serious amatuer up to light trade use - Just about OK for spraying, air tools etc. But it isnt only about capacity, its also about volume - ie pumping efficiency - 3 hp twin with a 100 litre tank will keep you going for the foreseable future I reckon

A short large diameter tube from the compressor to the gun helps. You might need a moisture filter as well.

Well this isn't going to well, bought the Parrafin thing from M/M & there is hardly any soda coming out,i think maybe my borrowed compressor is goosed.
On switch it gets to 100psi,then after a few seconds it's dropping to 40psi,any compressor experts, can help.
Cheers,Duckface.
I'm beginning to think i picked the right forum name.

You might have already done this but:-

Drain any water from the compressor tank, there will be a valve underneath somewhere.
Try taking the adjusting nozzle off the off the end of the lance.
Are you using soda mixed with water?

Yes,i drained the wate(some thick black sludge dribbled out,but not much water),i did try with the nozzle off & a tiny amount of soda came through.
I didn't try adding water, wasn't sure how much so left it.
