Hello all,
I am planning a week travel to Moroco. Here in Spain, we have Easter week on the 9th-10th of April and my company closes the whole week, so I will be on holidays since the 3rd of April till the 12th. However, my wife will only be out of her work from the 8th till the 12th. I have been checking and there is a flight from Madrid to Marrakech that arrives there at 9.30 in the morning.
So, I am looking to do a solo (or not) travel from the 3rd to the 7th. I will leave Madrid on the 3rd and I will cross the border first thing Saturday the 4th. Considering that on the 7th I should sleep close to Marrakech to pick my wife next day, what would you recommend? I would like to make some pistes as well.
Once I pick my wife we have 4 complete days to go from Marrakech to any place close to the border so Sunday the 12th we will cross very early to make the trip back to Madrid together.
What should I see? Where should we stop? Is there simple piste that we can to with her up in the motorbike?
By the way, I am travelling with a F800GS and I am using the Moroco Michelin 742 map, but I do not know how the roads are. Is it feasible to perform such a trip using green and yellow roads? Are they destroyed?
