Advice on panniers

Been thinking about getting some alu panniers for my 800gs.Like the look of the bmw boxes but the price is a big put off.Looked at all the main options out there but they just look way to wide to me.Must be someone out there who's good at bending sheet alu .Still pondering getting boxes,Any advice would be great thanks.

Thanks for advice.Iv been looking at all the options and I think I might take the plunge and try the BMW adventure panniers.

I've got metal mules on my R1200GS.
not as expensive as the BMW ones if I remember.

Started looking at the width of the boxes on the bike now im going mad.I thought it would been simple to pick a set of panniers.The bmw adventure panniers are like wings.Back to the drawing board
