Hi guys my wife has a bad knee and finds the pegs too high by quite a bit.
Has any one lowered theirs either by a kit or home modification ?
An inch not enough maybe two or three needed
Thanks Guys

Sorry I missed that. Serves me right for using the pooter in the sunshine.

Mansfield and Derby are not short of engineering companies. I'm sure you could get something made up to do the job. But don't ask the company to design and fit. Only auto engineers will do that - at appropriate costs.

I did mine on my 1100s, fairly easily with some 6mm ally plate, only dropped mine by 30mm and 15mm forward, may not be enough for what you need. If you drop too much her feet will maybe hit yours.
I will have a look at the mountings on the GS and see if the ally plate I have left will be suitable, I am an engineer and have access to tools etc so may be able to help you.

Al.

Thanks guys looking for ideas
Any photos will help
Bendy had a good idea of raising the seat as well
Thanks again

MFW vario footrests do a 50mm drop and some adjustability. You can get them from sport touring and a couple of other places.
