Hi,

Need some advice on selling a 5 month old GS1200 ADV. I am selling it for a freinds wife (my friend passed away few weeks ago). As you would expect its mint. It also has full hard luggage, BMW GPS and Autocom.

Would it be best to sell luggage, GPS and Autocom seperate? Any advice would be great.

Cheers

If you sell it to a BMW dealer, then I'd say sell the bits seperately.

Otherwise hard to call, unless someone is after a run in 1200 GSA all ready to go on holiday.

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your friend. Normally it would be best to sell the other items separately, but go along to a dealer and ask them. Being in W.Yorks, I guess Alan Jeffries in Shipley would be the nearest to you.

If you do decide to split up the accessories for private sale, I woul;d like to register my interest in the panniers and rails. I am also in West Yorks.

All the best

sorry to hear your sad news.....i might be interested in the bike complete, when you get time can you give me a ring please 07974391052.thanks steve

I'm very sorry tohear of her loss

but (and I know I'm going to get slated for this), isn't there no longer a reason for being a site sponsor now?

Sniffy, I realise that you only asked for advice on price, but if you would like to become a site sponsor you could advertise the bike here, as you can see you are likely to find a buyer for it fairly easily.

Sorry to say the unpopular thing.

actually, it looks like I'm not the first to mention this.

Hi guys, bike has gone now back to dealer he offered me a good price. Loads of gear to get sell..... will become a site member.
