Advice please- Touring screen / spoiler?

Hi, want to get a bit better wind protection whilst riding.

Have a 2016 GS LC. Changed the BMW screen to a V-stream sports screen but only a little improvement.

Tried a Puig GSA screen, but it's far too tall for me (I am 5'11")

So, anyone comment on a MRA screen? One of those clip on spoilers? Anything else?!

The stock screen was too small for me in winter, but about right for the 'hot months', I have the Puig screen and it's perfect except for warmer weather. You get used to it, I'd say hang on to the Puig until the spring and then reassess.

6' 1" but a bit of a sloucher if anything.

Problem is, it's a tinted screen (got the Triple Black so wanted it to keep with the look!). And I can't see through it that well! I also noted a bad wobble and the screen mounts flexing a lot on the motorway.

I have the tinted MRA Vario screen and it works great without being super tall like some of the other screens. I found taller is not always better.

I must admit, the Puig is like a barn door on the front of the bike! It's huge!!

Puig seem to make all their screens like that...hideous to me.

Hmmm, Mark Hooton of Cymarc fame produces excellent screen braces. Stops the wobble of all the screens.

Screen size and posture is a very personal thing and it can take a bit of time to sort out. As many posts will attest. Almost as many as tyre preferences...

I don't change the the Puig from the lowest position, btw. Is high enough for me for all circumstances.

Want to keep a tinted screen to keep the looks of the bike, but the Puig is so tall, it obstructs vision, so need something shorter for safety/visibility. Would be OK clear, but will ruin the bike look!! Vain I know!

I have the tinted bmw adventure screen with mra spoiler on my lc. Works good for me, both in looks and application. The spoiler is a slightler lighter tint than the adventure so is easier to see through , (I normally sort look over it except for close work). Because the 2 screens are close together it is hard to see a difference in the tint unless up close. I have tried the adventure without the spoiler but didn't enjoy all the buffeting. Also tried a puig screen worked ok untill I had a pillion then it seemed to create a vacum, also looked a bit like a barn door, (to me that is). I am 6ft 1.

I use GSA Screen on my GS with MRA X-CREEN-SPORT ( I had it on my scooter before, its a little to small for a wider screen) but I suggest you use a touring version. Works well, alternatevlu get an MRA Vario Screen as it already comes with one pre-mounted.

Tried the MRA screen but it was still too low, purchased the Puig screen and found in it's lowest position was just right for motorways, so cut it down 50mm, now its perfect for me on its highest setting and allows some air in the face in its low position!
