Hi guys and galls
anybody know what phone will plug straight onto the autocom 2.5mm 3 pole plug? without any adaptor.?
or maybe a phone which accepts a 3.5mm std 3 pole plug , so i can buy a new 3.5mm to 3.5mm from autocom and not need an adaptor.
also it would be good if the phone has the large round charging plug, and not the pop port type charger which will fall off in the tank bag.
preferably nokia with an autoanswer facility in the phone.

you would be looking at something like an old nokia 2610, think most of the modern ones are multi connection type

HI Dean, thanks for that,i have got hold of a sony cmd-j70.
this does plug straight into the 2.5mm autocom lead, however the charger is of the multi pin variety.
when the phone rings , it just makes a loud ding on the autocom,and although it says auto answer, this only works with the dedicated sony car kit, so you have to press any button to answer, ah well chug on.
ill check out the 2610.
