I used to have a Nav III fitted via a migsel mount just on top of the clocks behind the screen on my 1150GSA. It's a cosy fit, but worked well.

I now have a 660, and would like to fit it in the same place. However, the release mechanism for the zumo is behind the unit, unlike the Nav III which was on top of the unit. Has anyone fitted a 660 in this position, will I be able to take it on and off OK given the location of the release mechanism?

I know I can try it to find out, but I'm just looking for an advance 'heads up' if it's an issue.

Thanks :thumb2

Can you popst a few more pics please? Its difficult to see exactly how (as opposed to where) it mounts from the one pic above.

Thanks

So is the plate glued on? I can't see how it fixes to the speedo. I looked on Migsel's website and couldn't really understand how it attaches.

Thanks

Screen off, Silver plastic cover off. Now release the nut that secures the Speedo and pull forward. The mount fits behind the Speedo flange. Then refasten the Speedo clock up. job done. By far this is the best fitting for me. Perfect vision without obscuring any other clocks. The power cable runs under my tank, up through the headstock and into the dash from behind. Nice and tidy.:thumb2
The pictures I have added make the mount look different from the dash, it isnt. Its just reflecting light from the camera.

Thanks, Now that you've said it fits behind the speedo flange I can understand it a bit better.

Time to start measuring up the metal in my offcuts box I think...

Cheers,
Mark
