Soz to be a pain but need to ask a question about tyres
since its my first GS.
Firstly the tyre tread indicator (rubber flappy bit) is strangely enough on the side of the tyre and has just started to get scrubbed on my tourances. The bike has just done over 5k.
Should I really get them changed now or could I squeeze another 1k out of them if I take it steady on the twisty's as there seems to be loads of tread left in the middle?
If I did my maths correctly
after 1k the bike would be due another service so the dealer could pop on a new tyre at the same time which would help as I need the bike everyday for the commute to work.
Any help would be appreciated.
