ok guys,
having no luck selling my bike, which is quite ok as i love it too much.
so im looking to change a few things
firstly: shocks thinking of ohlins.
secondly: remus exhaust.
And possibly changing the headlight to white lights
so im looking for a good place for shocks and exhaust, or any advice on which path to choice. ohlins/wilbur. same with exhaust.
and also as anybody coverted the lights and do the make a differance.

thanks.

Lights

The HID conversion of the 55w dipped beam is well worth doing. Cost is reasonable (€60-80 if I recall) and the improvement is 200-300% better then the OEM light. Its a bit finicky to fit, but not difficult and takes about an hour - you do have to drill out the light fitting so its a semi-permanent mod. I don't see the value in HID'ing the main beam, but some folks do both (and auxy spot light s !)

PM Les Wassell on the forum for info, he'll not do you worng :thumb2

Have a look here

Remus is loud

I've a Remus fitted to my 1150GS and it can be annoying on a long run, though it is could for clearing a path through the town
The cheapest, and one of the best, upgrade is the HID on the dip.
Suspension upgrades either Wilbers or Ohlins will be expensive, so keep the originals for when you sell on the bike.
Best upgrade that I've made has been a Corbin seat that lets me ride all day, unlike the 100 mile standard seat.
