Hi Folks I am thinking of selling my 93 GSPD its done 60,000 miles aprox in good condition what sort of price Am I looking at ? I do not want to give it away but buy the same token I do not want to be greedy so what would a reasonable asking price be .
It is basically a standard GSPD but with the red paintwork changed professionally to BRG and all transfers replaced , a Custom saddle , lower rear shock ( original supplied with it ) lower centre stand plus original and complete with BMW panniers and ss brake hoses other than that a nice tidy and good running bike .

Definitely £4,000+ ........................a picture or two would certainly help!

Really................this one only got a bid of £3k and didn't reach reserve

Some high prices asked, when in reality some bikes just aren't worth it

£3k would be a fair price, Shep's airhead sold last week for £3.5k and that was a well sorted example

i could find you some that fetch £5k if you like, that bike didn't sell as the owner wouldn't sell for 3 grand and i don't blame him. just because one bike with crap non standard bike only gets one bid for £3k doesn't mean they all are. it could well make a thousand pounds more the next week it all depends who's watching (obversely ) I've regularly seen relished bikes make loads more the following week.
most standard run of the mill GSPDs will go for min £4k up to £6k for really nice ones. while your regular GS para will be £3 to 4 k, thats what I've been seeing in the last 6 months prices are defiantly going up.
Sheps bike is defiantly well sorted as i went for a spin on it last night and its most certainly a peach !!:bow:bow

PICTURES will help the appraisal :augie:thumby:

Hi Folks
Thankyou for your replies I will take some photos at the week end and add them to this thread
thanks again to everyone who has taken the trouble to read / reply to my request for advice
Regards
Mike

I think the non-standard colour may work against you a bit. If I was you, I would keep it for another few years til the bonuses start to flow again.. and I'd think of restoring to an original colour scheme.
