Afgan burgen run.
On above dates, a little like the pink way around organised by Dutchess a few years ago, for Breast cancer, but in the other direction, still from Kings lynn Norfolk.

I am doing the leg from Dartford to Southend (leg 54,) we are meeting at Sainsburys Hall road On the A2260 northfleet ( to be confirmed) at 17.05 if you would like to ride along please put your name down for the ride along £5 is all thats reqiured. more the merrier.

I just checked where they are, they are on the A1 north, in Northumberland.

The link for the tracker above, once open click the logo afghan heroes to find out where they are, the time for southend are dover 1130 southend 2 pm if all goes well for them. ok

Bill I am meeting the group at Pepperhill Sainsbury, petrol station. to ride with them to southend, they are at the moment at Penrith 5 mins ago so doing well...PM your Mobile I will inform you when I leave home we could meet up under M25 junction 29 on the roundabout..if that any good to you.

Well had a good ride on my bike,Meet some new mates, it was running a tad late due to a breakdown but they are doing well, on way to Ipswich at the mo on the A12.

I have not been to Southend for a while what have they done,If they are goind to make a pedestrian walk way why not close it off completely to traffic,
I will say theyhave taken the old Southend away from what I grew up with, Progress, why are the cars not near to the sea front, Instead of the amusments side sad. and the a127 with its average speed cams what ever next.It will look like shoebury soon just for the old........

I lived in Southend and Shoeburyness during the Eighties and had a great time as a you man away from home; and Shoebury was Rockin' then.
