Thought I should treat the rear shock to a wee bit of bling….which goes nicely with the other red bits of bling !!

It’s been quite some time since posting, but main thing is that the bike remains utterly reliable, I changed the chain and sprockets at about 28000 miles (they weren’t even knackered, reckon another 4/5k miles but had the new set sitting around for too long), the front discs were replaced with EBC ones and I’m almost at 31k miles now.

nice to see you've kept it all this time Davey . I don't think you'll ever need to worry about reliability there's a German guy with 501,000 km on his dct model
WOW ! That must be the fella that had done 250k the last time I’d seen any of his videos. 😯
Respect where it’s due….🫡

Well I’ve just had the dreaded valve check carried out. It wasn’t any easier this time round stripping and building the bike. There was obviously no consideration taken in the design of the Africa Twin for servicing it. 🤬
Anyway….now at 34,111 miles and two of the exhaust valves (one on each pot) needed a tiny tweak each and that was it. Oil & filter change, coolant change, plugs renewed (bloody expensive they were too) and new front pads. So good to go for another summers fun.
