Africa Twin is coming

...lots of video has the bike in the air, the majority do not show what's going down below when it lands.

This is with a midget on board, wonder what it will be like with a Tosser

To be honest its going to be a hard thing to give up the keys to my 2015 Versys 1000 as it is let alone if I start getting pi55ed about by the dealer ill just cancel the bike and stick with what ive got, its without doubt the best adventure styled bike ive had so far so it really wont be hard to cancel !!
 
When I asked the dealer here he still wasn't sure so called the Honda rep who said they will be able to place orders in November for January delivery.

Meanwhile I think I've now talked myself out of one of these bikes. I'm sure it'll be a nice bike and one I would take over a KTM but in reality I just don't see myself really needing a bike like this, it's basically a large, relatively heavy dirt bike and when I'm on dirt or gravel roads I don't ride fast enough to need anywhere near 100hp. Nevertheless I'll be anxious to see one and hear some ride reports from some of you that get one.

I thought the video was pretty good........but........it's not realistic. There's no Tescos or Starbucks anywhere to be seen, never mind a kerb to ride over. ;)

LOL I don't really know what to say about it really has that made me think I need one, Not really it looks the nuts in the hands of the professional off-roaders riding it and the engine bars and spots look nice just wish the announcement was price or release date at least then id know weather to wait or not !!
 
The U.K. Price is being released on the 28th of Nov at the NEC Motorcycle Live show. I'm getting a pre-release special ticket for the unveiling on the 28th. My flight over is on the 30th.....:blast
 
why would you buy something that has only just been released, even a Honda. Lets some other sucker find its flaws and get the second generation, just like an iPhone update really :-)
