Africa Twin is coming

Did any of you fat fucks sit on it ? Where's the pics ? Is it quite tall ? Hope so.

That "S" Adventure is a tall tool...... the AT looks a similar height......

Had a sit on the new A/T on the Honda stand ,seat on the one I tried was about the same as a standard GS, really nice ergonomics for me with a good relationship between the seat, bars and pegs.

Whole bike looks typical Honda build quality with switchgear that really puts the current BMW crap to shame, think a test ride will be in order in the Spring

deposit paid on Saturday! cant wait too get it. hopefully not to long to wait I know there is some sort of tripmaster thing comes with bike?? can anyone elaborate on this...
cheers

Cracking looker..... :thumb

I sat on it yesterday, feels well built but at 6 foot 5 I could easily get both soles down .It didn't do it for me but I think it will be a great bike if you want to do some off road stuff , as it will be lighter than a GS/ GSA . Seat position can be adjusted , lowest was way too low for me highest seemed just right .Seems Honda have a winner here , lot of interest being shown

cant get too show this year has anybody that's been there asked the question where this bike is built etc... is there a J in the chassis number . I think that means made in japan??????

I had a good mooch round it today.

I think it looks great, feels smaller and slimmer than my GS, with great ergonomics and with a solid high quality finish. I could get both feet down comfortably (I'm 5' 11''). Suspension felt quite soft but you can't really get a proper feel for this on a static bike in a fixed stand which could have any old settings dialled into it.

I was very impressed and I think they will sell a truck load of them :thumb2

Whilst I was mooching some fat old Twat was arguing like fuck with a Honda bloke over the DCT. Fat Twat reckoned it would be crap off road due to all manor of advanced off road riding techniques which couldn't be deployed with DCT fitted. Honda bloke was politely pointing out the feedback from highly experienced off road test riders who had ridden DCT equipped bikes over quite technical stuff with no problems! Fat Twat looked like the only off road he'd ever ridden was through the gravel car park of his local Harvester on his way to the "eat as much as you can buffet" :blast

It does crack me up that mr Honda has taken the time to put 18" and 21" wheels on this bike for greater off road tyre choice and most of them will either stay with the road tyres and never venture offroad or at max have TKC80s fitted !!

Chelsea tractor syndrome!
Wait a month or two for reports of the new AT being 'off roaded' along nicely graded tracks that you could take a Fireblade along.
Just for visual effect like.

And what's wrong with graded tracks and TKC80s!!
