Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Looks the part mate cant wait to hear what you think of it
Rob
Rob had the bike for a service today with the new screen bracket, in its lowest position it's maybe slightly better as you move the screen up it dose improve a bit but will not cut all the wind out, at the screens highest point I didn't like it as I'm not keen looking through a screen with my glasses on, I would install it as you will have the two options one to lift it when touring if it rains heavy and the other to mount a second gps or that trip master thing you got with the early AT

Thanks for the heads up mate ill have a think on that

Did another 100 miles on it today, random ride nowhere in particular
Getting more comfortable (trusting) the slow speed manoeuvring
Standard screen is quieter without earplugs as they caused an annoying drumming (same as my 1150 Gs with tobinators)
If I drop my head height a tiny bit 75% of wind noise disappears so ordered a Betzen adjuster to fine tune screen height, touring screen was annoyingly in my eyeline so I knew that wasn't going to work..
Also getting used to 21" wheel again , 3 hours no aches ergonomics are spot on for me and the DCT makes the ride very relaxing, still running in but S1 is mode of choice for a stress free roam around country lanes.
Manual says break in is 300 miles only 100 to go and I can stretch her legs a little bit more.

Somewhere in Kent/east Sussex

WHAT THE F**K YOU LOOKING AT !!!

Got a pair of fork protectors from that auction site. They don't go all the way round, don't need too. Just had to trim about 5 mm off them at the top to make a nice fit. :)

Real pity the orange dayglo clashes with the anodised gold fork tubes

:blast

Mine should be here sometime this week.
I think lifting it a cm or 2 will just quieten the wind noise that I get.
I bought mine with just a centre stand, and over time decide what I need.
Like the look of rugged roads engine guards.

Ive had the Batzen screen parts on for the last 500 smiles including the sat nav mount, can't fault it,

This is what Honda should have done in the first place, :thumb2

Mine arrived today, fitting and test ride tomoz

My Batzen screen adjusters arrived today, quality is spot on took a whole 10 mins to fit with everything needed in the box looks as if it grew there
cant wait tio give it a try on Saturday
Also fitted the TKC80s on Monday

Fitted mine yesterday funnily the lowest position seems best for me, only a couple of cm extra needed (queue innuendo ) :D
Bagster tank cover arrived today

I bought the adventure pack from Honda when I ordered the bike, been waiting almost three months for two items, I wish honda was as quick batzen getting parts delivered.

My bagster tank cover was only a day longer to come both from Germany, maps no uk bagster importers didn't even have them listed to order.

Colour is slightly wrong but that's usually been the case with baglux had their stuff for years on various bikes I find the clip on off system works well, whether I want to use a bag or not.
Also great protection from rubbing on paint which as Honda cars is incredibly soft.
