That's because they are designed to fit more than just your lunch !! Your Holan's look narrow but the ones on the AT above look as wide if not wider than the OE ones for the AT,which are bigger but don't need bulky frames.........would be interesting to see pannier size and overall width of the OE ones compared with the Holans.

10 seconds and they're off

Pannier inner bags and they're so easy to use - 10 seconds to take out the bags, close and into the hotel lobby

So much lighter than pannier frames & metal panniers too

Less is more nowadays

Still the best hard luggage system IMO.

Just to be fair to Holans - their design for the Tiger looks more integrated with the original exhaust fitted rather than the Scorpion end can fitted to mine

I looked into getting the H+B Gobi Panniers like on the KTM 950/990 as I really like them and Ive a brand new top box that I can use as well in black so wanted the black panniers but with the frames the bike would have been wider than my Range Rover LOL
I think ill go with the Std ones

PS - may be just the angle the picture was taken but it looks like the Honda boxes are located further forward than most - do they get in the way of a pillions legs? Also what is the total width with them fitted?

I'm not a fan of the crash bars - looks like the bikes has its own Zimmer frame

Mind you with it does share some DNA with a Honda Jazz so a Zimmer frame would make sense
