Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Wired mine to the fuse box had enough cables going to the battery with the Optimate lead and heated grips and its tight in the battery box

Shouldn't you really be using some sort of distribution box rather than loads of leads running off the battery or fuse box?

Andres

I had a 3 row plate made for mine thought it suited the back of the bike

And fitted an additional LED stop and tail light in place of the reflector

Looks great Arsey. Happy new bike and all that. What's the verdict then is it what you hoped it would be?

Still waiting to see one in Jersey.

It's actually better than I had hoped.Been out playing in the rain this afternoon, which was probably daft seeing as it had 8 miles on the clock so tyres still a bit slippy when I started but got caught in a shower so stayed out.
Sounds awesome with the Remus and baffle out.
DCT is amazing-in just one afternoon I've pretty much adapted to it.In D mode it changes up VERY early which is probably not ideal for running in.In S mode it hangs on to the gears too long in 3 for our local roads/speeds but pretty much perfect in the wet in 1 or 2 in the dry.Only a couple of times has it changed when I didn't want it to-most of the time it's changing as though it's telepathic !!
The combination of tall seat and tall screen is very comfy.
I can also confirm that the Nishua Enduro as advertised elsewhere is a great helmet, and very good in torrential rain !!

I knew the box would be amazing. Why some buy them with a conventional box beats me.
If you've had a car with the new 7/8/9 speed auto/dsg/paddle boxes, you'd never go back to a clutch and stick.

Great photo. Enjoy your AT.

I'm out all day and the roads are dry at last . I love this bike with its telepathic gearbox .
It does something no GS/GSA ever did-it puts a huge smile on my face every time I get on it !!

Looking great, Arsey.:thumb

Are we allowed to quote all these posts when you trade it in at the end of the year?:P

Finally took mine out for a wee spin. 70 freaking freezing miles ! At least I reminded myself why I got my car license......:augie

Very pleased so far. The gearbox/clutch is a delight, handling superb, lovely suspension, comfy yadda yadda.....no regrets. It's deceptively quick, even in running in conditions and its soooo smooth too.

Roll on warmer weather.. :bounce1
