Powerbronze 'Sports' screen arrived today. Haven't been out yet, but IMO, it looks quite nice. I wanted something a tad shorter to try out to see if the little bit of turbulence affecting my Hornet Adv lid could be dispelled. I mostly ran my 1190 Adv with the Adv R short screen which did the trick, tho' I do have to put up with a few extra kmaikaze bugs killing themselves on my visor?

Got to say Davy not a fan of the looks of the low screen, but if it works that will do nicely

Yeah, it's not the prettiest thing, but acceptable for what I hope does the job. I could have just hacksawd a lump off one of my standard size screens, but it wasn't that dear, and I do have to help keep someone in a job.

That looks like fun - would be good to put some dents and scratches into an AT - do they put plastic bags over the switches so that they keep working when you fall off in a puddle? - do they make you polish the spokes and the end of the day?

You can dress up BMW's issues how you like but they are THE most unreliable big bike brand, even less reliable than Ducati. Sure they sort out the issues and no doubt weigh up the cost to them of either upping their game compared to sorting warranty issues. To me that is not good enough. I would rather not have the hassle (I may have that hassle with the new KTM, who knows). I also want a bike outside of a warranty period that I can reasonably trust to not explode.

Amen to that. BMW's current success is down to three things; excellent marketing, excellent warranty and excellent dealers.

As much fun as getting so many parts replaced before the warranty runs out that you end up with a virtually new bike. Good game, BMW.
