Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Same reason 99.8% of the GSs are bought and never used off road I like the style and dont want to chuck £11K down a muddy trail, ive got other bikes for that !!

Damn,we didn't get the Triple Troll Full House-only jetcock and mrwee.Where is Engineer when you need him !!!
But for anybody considering purchasing the Africa Twin, the latest issue of Bike has a very good and balanced review after having conducted a long and thorough test on the steed, the reason I posted the verdict above.

The continual problem seems to be your attitude and using other people's material to prop up your insecurity about a bike you've bought that some people say isn't as good as another .

If you like it that's all you need isn't it ? Why always trying to prove its the best ?

A deep insecurity in oneself maybe ?

This is a long thread discussing the merits and faults with the Africa Twin.A bike you've never ridden, yet you have to troll almost every reply in here.Look in the mirror to find the insecure one.
The only people who seem to say the AT isn't any good are you,Engineer and mrwee and out of the three of you know-alls,only Eng has ridden it and that was for about 5 minutes.

I don't give a shit what you or your trolly chums think of the Africa Twin. But some prospective owners might actually look in the Honda section and be reading threads like this, and once they've got past all the shite that the likes of you post, might get some useful info for their possible purchase.

Hence the reason I posted the Bike mag verdict.Could have posted the entire article but not sure if that's really allowed with copyright issues etc.

So if you've nothing constructive to say,why don't you go troll another section.I've also posted in the Husky section, why not try that ?

Call everyone a troll who goes against you why don't you. I hear you're the troll over on the GS section .

I haven't ridden an AT but as I said in an earlier post I bet it's a brilliant bike especially with the DCT and I mean that . Do Honda make a crap one ?

I wouldn't have one due to the weight .

I just find it strange that you talk about having a section to talk about the pro s and cons of the bike but all you seem to do is post magazine articles saying it's a brilliant bike and only the sycophantic stuff that the magazine needs to get paid by the Maker .

Point me to the quote where I ever said the Africa Twin was no good please !

That's still a copyright infringement

That's still a copyright infringement

And you're still trolling.Keep going. I'm sure Wilfred Cockwomble will be along very soon to take the baton off you

There's a little article in the latest MSL on the DCT AT.

They've fitted a Touratech screen which they love for it's quality and looks; apparently it makes the bike look more purposeful, like a KTM. I'd take that as a compliment boys :D

Also, they tried Dynoing the bike but can't get it to change gear. Apparently it needs plugging into some bespoke Honda software to do that. That'd feck up Engineer then :D

Oh, and they fitted an Akra too. It looks good to me, sort of old skool Akra and a thousand times better than some of the stuff the company has started churning out recently.

But unlike the KTM, you won't need to spend months of time and nearly £600 sorting the suspension!
