After 15 months in my garage, my 1100GS has bloody ....

....started today, on the first press of the starter

It's been on a SORN in my garage with an Optimate attached. Not a single hesitation at all, bit of grey smoke but everything fine. ABS set itself as usual too. Just need some new rubber, an oil change and an MOT for the Summer

Fantastic that's why I LOVE these bikes. My R850GS before I bought it did 600 miles in 8 years but purrs like the day it left the factory. Did 220 miles on Friday and asked myself do I want a newer faster more powerful bike? Lets just say the wife is happy!!!!

The one I bought had been sat in a garage for 2 years. Put a set of jump leads on the battery, turned the key, pressed the starter and she fired into life running nicely.

I love my 1100.....

My 1100 starts every morning no problems,
It may be 18 years old, sounds like a TK Bedford cattle truck and looks horrendous, but it's had less problems in 70 thousand miles than my first 07
xmoto had in the first 30K.

Happy days.
