Any year will fit.

That's a matter of some debate. I ran the same full Remus system on my '04 and '07 bikes. It was clear that the fuel map in the '07 bike was leaner but I didn't have any problems with it. However, it's suggested that '08 and '09 bikes are even leaner. So far, I've only fitted the Remus can to my '09 bike. I've got a Power Commander and I'll have a map made up for it on the dyno when I do fit the headers.

As ever, YMMV.

They will all fit but my advice is if you just want to get rid of the cat and have a bit more oomph, just get the headers. The aftermarket cans don't really add much except noise.

Our Keihan headers will give @5bhp and a lot more low down torque where you need it on a GS. They will also smooth out the small dip at around 4500rpm. We also retain the balancer pipe and they are the same dimensions as the OE headers so will fit with any crash bars.

The Lamda sensore will cope with a headers and a can but once you get towards a K&N filter as well, I would recommend a power commander.

Lots of details here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169777

Have you run an '09 bike on the dyno with one of your systems fitted and checked the AFR?

Also, I wouldn't fit a K&N. There's no significant benefit in performance and a huge question over how good they are at providing adequate filtration.

thanks for the advice, the technitions at rainbow motorcycles said that the latest bikes do run leaner, iam between a rock and a hard place, do i put some aftermarket headers on and hopefully get more bhp, or possible engine damage due to running lean, or do i just leave well alone ??keep the advice/ views coming. regards tr6 trophy:confused:

Just change the headers and see how you get on with that and the OEM end can.

Then you have not wasted money.
